Following the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized hemp with less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC, Mississippi has taken a prohibitive stance on synthetic cannabinoids, including Delta-8 and Delta-10 THC. Mississippi’s regulatory approach effectively bans the production, sale, and distribution of these intoxicating hemp derivatives, aiming to prevent unregulated psychoactive products from entering the consumer market.

These products are classified as controlled substances under state law, meaning they cannot be legally produced, distributed, or sold within Mississippi.
