According to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), people who live in a state without a regulated adult-use or medical marijuana program are more likely to use delta-8 THC. Researchers noted that cannabis prohibition may unintentionally promote use of these types of intoxicants, despite the fact that there are fewer studies on their health effects. Find the study here.
