Duane Morris Invites You Q&A Webinar on the 2018 Farm Bill
Thursday, December 20, 2018 | 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Eastern time)
Our presenters will review the provisions and implications of the 2018 Farm Bill and respond to your questions about this pending legislation. The 2018 Farm Bill, known as the “Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018,” proposes the removal of hemp from the Controlled Substances Act and conferral on the Department of Agriculture authority over hemp, including CBD derived from hemp, and will allow states to be authorized as the primary regulator of hemp grown in their states. Interstate commerce of hemp and CBD derived from hemp will not be restricted. The bill was set forth in final form in a Conference Report on December 10, 2018, and could be signed into law this week.
